Tid Bit of D.R. Life

Whiley and I have officially moved to our new home! No water, but there is electricity! It is farther away from the main road too, so I don't feel like I have motorcycles driving through my bedroom. Whiley is learning to play fetch and I am trying to train her not to eat the neighbor's chickens. The girl has an appetite!
The family I live next to is great; Ramona, Fauto, Natanael and Racheli. Natanael and Racheli bring me a mango just about every morning for breakfast! I have a Mango tree in my back yard! Paradise! If their mom sends a few extra with them they quickly ask if they can have one and I can't turn down their cute faces! On the other side of the fence my neighbors are a different story! I have involuntarily adopted three girls! (3, 5 and 6 years old) We have been doing a lot of coloring! And they are always keeping me on my toes.
The girls (Club de Chicas) are doing well. We did a minor foto shoot the other day at Rancho Campeche and they are finishing up school these days so they can help me run a Sala de Tarea (afterschool/ extra help program) over the summer. The environmental group I am working with is going well. Happy World Environment Day!!! (06.05.08) We are planning to plant a garden this Wednesday!

Love to the U.S.!
