Rio Reflection!

Back in action! I am back in my site after greeting gringos for the last few days. The transition is difficult, but I am making my way through it. Today is raining so no one will leave their houses. This is ok by me! I am not one to turn down a movie day! My brothers love it too! My lap top is still a phenomena! I guess there isn't too much to report right now and I should probably be writing in my journal instead of this blog that is open to those who have internet access! Anyway, this is what I am planning for the month of January..... two english classes a week, conducting interviews, counting houses, and starting dia del Rio! (basically just taking a few people to the river every friday!) The thing about being a Peace Corps volunteer is that this simple river excursion is work. A simple field trip quickly turns into a project... attendance and reflection is the key! Attendance before you go to the river to make those participating feel important and reflect before leaving the river on something positive or negative from the experience! No vale la pena without reflection! (it's not worth it without reflecting on the experience). I will let you all know how it goes. Enjoy the beginning of 2008! It only comes once!
